Town Council Logo
The Town Council logo was designed by students of Kingsmead Technology College and was adopted by the Council in 2008
The three overlapping circles are intended to reflect the close knit Hednesford community with the green background representing Cannock Chase and the black symbols the coal beneath
The cross keys is an historic coaching inn, the leaping stag typical of the deer that roam on Cannock Chase and the Stafford Knot* a Staffordshire County emblem
The phrase "Gateway to the Chase" indicating the geographic location of Hednesford in relation to Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
The logo has subsequently been incorporated into all Council publications and is also reproduced on a new badge of office commissioned by the Council in 2010
