Contact is made with the Coalfields Regeneration Trust regarding funding

The grant application to Coalfields Regeneration Trust took a considerable amount of resources to prepare due to changes in criteria and to meet the demands of the Trust. In effect 2 bids had to be prepared

Coalfields Regeneration Trust advise that the application has been unsuccessful

Further grant applications submitted to Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust and Staffordshire Environment Fund. Outcome anticipated during the early part of 2010

The Town Council agrees its budget for 2010-11 and confirms that a substantial amount of reserves would be set aside for the project

Bid documents are completed for National Lottery funding

Architects and Building contractors are invited to be include on a select tender list

Select list is determined and consideration is given to appointment of supervising architect

James Mason Associates appointed as supervising architect and work begins on preparing detailed drawings to enable submission of a planning application
